End key not lit properly

I’m not sure if you noticed this but you most likely have a problem with the background light on your end key. On most of the E50 mobiles it’s not lit very well if at all. It’s not the end of the world but I keep wondering why some models don’t have this problem while other do. Check out this pictures to see what I’m talking about:
1. Properly lit end key

2. Badly lit end key

See? The end key is situated right under the C key on the right. You can’t see it on the second picture but it’s nicely red on the first one. Weird.

Yeah I just noticed that mine isn’t lit properly. But I don’t mind.
any way you can think of to remedy this issue? Mine is also dim.
Problem is that the keypad is only lit by two blue LED’s; one located between * & 0, and the other located between 0 & #. Obviously these two blue LEDs are not bright enough to illuminate the keys at the top of the keypad properly. I’m thinking of switching out the blue LEDs for some brighter white LEDs to see if that makes any difference.
Stephen, thanks for the explanation. I would be really interested to know if switching LEDs makes any difference. Please let us know if/when you try it out!
