While browsing various internet forums I noticed that many people do care where their mobile phone was manufactured. I didn’t myself notice any differences between let’s say Asian and Finnish Nokia phones but some people believe that those made in Finland are of better quality.
Nokia has a factory in Salo, a small town near Turku on the south of Finland. That’s where the “Made in Finland” Nokia mobiles come from. If you want to get one your best chance is to order it from a finnish online store. There are many of them but only some have their websites in English. Also I’m not sure if they accept orders from abroad.
Next week I’m going to look into the possibilities of ordering a mobile phone from finnish online stores. So stay with me if you want to have a Nokia phone made if Finland. I can’t promise you’ll get one but your chances will be much higher. Grab this RSS feed and you’ll be informed of every new article posted here on this blog.
