Screenshot application now Symbian Signed
Jaro 12. November 2006 :: application, e50, screenshot, symbian signed

A very popular application for the S60 devices – Screenshot – has now the Symbian Signed mark on it. Congratulations to Antony Pranata who is the author of this piece of software. I use his application almost on a daily basis and this blog wouldn’t be so interesting without it.
For all of you who want to go and download the latest version I would suggest wait for some time. Antony just discovered a little bug and will be releasing a new version soon. As he says it will take another 2-3 weeks for this new version to be signed again. And what does ‘Symbian Signed’ mean for us, users?
If an application is Symbian Signed, it has successfully met the criteria defined in the Symbian Signed Test Criteria. The Test Criteria are designed to validate that an application behaves properly on the specified Symbian OS phone or phones, for example handling low memory correctly or informing the user that a billable event is about to take place.
